Barry
Kehler of Regina writes: "Imperial Oil initiated the telework program approximately two
years ago mainly for field personnel - Territory Managers, Agronomists, etc.
These are employees that are on the road most of the time. I believe it has
been a successful program with obviously many plusses and of course a few
downfalls, but it has generally been a good experience. I think the best
plus is that I accomplish more with fewer interruptions when I am working at
home and the commute is not bad either. The downfall is the struggle to separate work life from family life and the void of not having
coworkers/colleagues nearby."
