Telework: recruitment, retention and jobs

Click the page you want to visit:
1. Why telework is great for recruitment & retention
2. Surveys & supporting information
3. Finding a telework job  (important...read the "notice")
4. Miscellaneous resources

Sorry, but we cannot find you a telework job (that's not what we do). However, this page can help you find some websites and organizations where you may find success. But you should be aware that most employers feel more comfortable if you first gain at least a bit of work experience at their premises prior to commencing telework. That way, they get to know you and what you can do, while you get to know them and the job. That doesn't mean it's impossible to start telework right away for a new employer.  It's just more of a challenge..

Telework job-matching services
Below you will find a list of links to websites that offer telework job matching services. While the services list many types of jobs, and from all over the world, most are US-based services. We would like to present more Canadian companies, but they are just not as numerous. Some of these services help find permanent employment. Some hold only the possibility of telework, or  working at home as a self-employed contractor or consultant.

But keep these caveats in mind
We can't vouch for the quality of these services, so adopt a buyer-beware attitude and treat each one on its own merits. Most of these services are free for job seekers -- it's the company seeking help that pays. So if a company asks you to pay, just make sure you are getting good for your money.  If you know of any good sites, please let us know.
