Telework and people with disabilities
Telework can be a great way to 'get to work' for people with temporary or permanent disabilities. These resources and links lead you to sites that deal with telework and the disabled.  Most of them are supportive of telework as a highly successful tool.

Michigan Assistive Technology & Telework Loan Fund helps Michigan residents with disabilities apply for loans for equipment and home modifications to start a home-based business or work for an employer from home
U.S. Labor Secretary announces $2.5 million grant to increase employment opportunities for people with disabilities through telework positions
Tokyo's Oki Electric to establish a special subsidiary that will specialize in employing teleworkers with severe physical challenges
Working from home helps disabled. While telework appeals to healthy workers, some believe working from home is especially beneficial to those with certain types of disabilities -- particularly quadriplegia and mental illness

It's no wonder telecommuting and home-based businesses have established themselves as viable alternatives for the disabled
