Marie-France
Revelin (Telework Consulting & Training)
Marie-France Revelin is a Montreal based consultant who specializes in
telework consulting and training. With over 10 years of intensive corporate
and non-profit involvement with telework, she is considered as one of
Canada’s leading telework experts.
In her past role as a Bell Canada telework expert consultant, she spent many
years involved in corporate telework initiatives, both for Bell Canada and
for other employers. Her many roles included taking part in various
promotional and support efforts; creating telework implementation guides;
developing complementary managing tools for implementing effective corporate
telework programs; and appearing in local, provincial and national media.
Now retired from Bell Canada, Marie-France remains passionately active and
interested in innovative new work methods, and in the evolution of Canadian
work environments. She is well recognized in Québec and Canada, as well as
internationally, for her many conferences, workshops and seminars — all aimed
at creating awareness of the issues and benefits of telework and its impact
on individuals and organizations.
Since 1998 she has sat as a board member of the Canadian Telework
Association, acting as the representative in her province.
From 1998 to year 2001 she was actively involved on the executive committee
for a telework research project conducted by CEFRIO (Centre francophone de
recherche en informatisation des organisations). As part of this research,
which involved Canadian and European companies, she participated in a
fact-finding mission to France.
