Craig Lee,
Director
Craig Lee has been intimately involved with
telework for some 15 years. Not only did he spend many years teleworking
himself, but he helped to develop, manage and promote the concept of
telework across the country.
As a communications and media consultant, he
was one of the driving forces behind the public launch the first
Canadian Government telework program. He is also one of the founding
members of the Canadian Telework Association.
Now retired from the Public Service, he spent 30 years working for the Government of Canada in Ottawa,
Toronto and Vancouver.
As Director of Communications for the
Canadian Transportation Agency', Mr. Lee has extensive experience in the
development, application and evaluation of communications strategies
related to major Canadian government programs and initiatives, many of
which were controversial.
Mr. Lee has revised articles for publication
on telework for many years. He has also conducted research, provided
communications advice and acted as a news media spokesperson for
numerous sensitive and rapidly emerging government issues including a
major Public Service strike and several Auditor General reports.
Mr. Lee has presented plans and strategies and briefed Cabinet Ministers
(including ministers responsible for Treasury Board, Industry, Fitness
and Youth), their political staff, Deputy Ministers, heads of
communications and senior management committees and officials.
Mr. Lee has a Bachelor of Arts degree from
Carleton University in Ottawa in Political Science and History. Mr. Lee
